Rica Fragrance was founded by Yazmin watford, whose career has taken her from coffee to fragrance, with a love for the sensory side of things connecting both worlds.

Yazmin spent eight years in the coffee industry, working as a roaster, green coffee distributor, and in various other roles. (She still works part-time as a coffee roaster!) she had also spent three years working at a small fragrance house, where she fell in love with perfumery and became a fragrance collector herself. Eventually, that passion led her to start Rica.

Through Rica, Yazmin wanted to create niche fragrances that are wearable and personal, inspired by some of her favorite memories and feelings from spending time in Puerto Rico with family and friends.

Rica collaborates with established perfumers who can bring her visions to life in ways she couldn't on her own. Sharing their artistry while showcasing her culture through fragrance is one of her main goals.
